Every year, CrossFit Renaissance family & friends have gathered to honor our dearly departed friend & brother, Billy Bogan.  We do this to remember and celebrate the life of our dear friend, Bill Bogan, who lost his life a few years ago.

This Friday, 8/28/2020,  we will do a workout and hold a fundraiser in honor of our friend Billy Bogan.  Billy was just one of those people that was awesome to be around. With an infectious smile, fierce loyalty and innate intensity it was always easy to do your best when Billy was around you. His workout had to be a team workout for this reason alone. It always felt like Bill was on your team anyway when he was in the gym. He would be cheering you on in the middle of his own workout all the time!

We will all miss our friend dearly and will hit this one hard in his honor!

This year, due to restrictions on large events, we will plan a smaller “BILLY BOGAN DAY” at the gym, when
all members of CrossFit Renaissance will do the Workout programmed in his name.

We are asking a $10 donation from each attendee.  All proceeds will go to Mission Teens Inc..  Mission Teens Inc. was
Billy’s favorite non-profit organization.  He spent many hours volunteering his time, because
that was who he was.  We would like to continue Billy’s work & follow his lead by supporting Mission Teens Inc.
If you are unable to make the workout and wish to donate to this organization,
that would be greatly appreciated.

Teams of 3 For Time

 

Row 1500 meters (each person must row 500m)

150 Hand release pushups

150 pull-ups (Strict pullups=2 pullups)

150 kb swings (1.5/1 pood)

*EMOM 3 burpees (all except for person rowing, who must stop until both partners are finished their burpees)
