What brought you to CrossFit Renaissance?
“I was introduced to CrossFit by a friend. He thought I would be interested in watching a particular video. That video changed my life. Since that moment, I became obsessed with the training lifestyle.”
What was your first impression?
“My first impression was a little bit of intimidation. But, after working with the coaches and learning the lifts, I became more comfortable with the program.”
Has your original impression changed?
“Yes, I am no longer intimidated by a challenging workout.”
What are you currently working on?
“Currently, I am working on handstand walks and triple unders. Those who know me at the gym, would tell you that I’m a bit of a klutz, so I know that it will be challenging.”
What is the toughest part of CrossFit?
“The toughest part for me is being able to get to the gym. My work schedule is very demanding and unpredictable. But once I’m there, I’m glad I showed up.”
What is your favorite memory at CrossFit Renaissance?
“My favorite memory at CrossFit is competing in the Reebok CrossFit Open and completing it in the RX Division. I would not have been able to get there had it not been for the excellent coaching that I received.”
How long have you been doing CrossFit?
“I’ve been in CrossFit for ten months. But, I will continue to train at CrossFit Renaissance for the sake of my sanity.”
What kind of changes have you seen, both physically and mentally?
“Physically, I feel stronger. All of my numbers are increasing and mentally, I feel confident in my abilities and my road rage is considerably better. LOL”
