Ed started with CrossFit Renaissance, as a member, in April of 2012. He joined the office staff as the General Manager in early 2014. In July of 2015, Ed received his Level 1 Certificate.

Having been an athlete his whole life, Ed quickly fell in love with CrossFit. His favorite part? “I love seeing people make progress. If you come here and work hard, you can achieve any of your goals.”

Q&A with Ed Davison

How did you first get into doing CrossFit?

I had a traditional gym membership for years. I would go, but was pretty inconsistent. I hated going by myself and got pretty bored with doing the same routine every week. (Chest and triceps on Monday, leg day, biceps and shoulders another day, etc.) I wanted to do something different, something fun. A friend of mine was a member of CrossFit Renaissance, so I asked him for some information. A few days later, I came to the gym to watch a class so I could see what it was all about. I knew right away that I wanted to join. So, I did.

What are you most passionate about, professionally?

Seeing other people get better at something or hitting their goals.
