New Strength Programming

I have always contended that strength is the most valuable of all of the aspects of fitness. It certainly has the most carryover to improving the other areas of fitness with power right up there as well.

Our programming is more than a little strength biased, for this reason. We are making a real push to increase the overall strength base for everyone this year. So many of your goals have a big strength element to them. To assure that you all get the necessary exposure to each lift we are making a change to the way we program the big lifts.

For the foreseeable future on our strength days, instead of a specific lift being programmed you will see “your next lift”. Simply do the next lift in your program.

We will have handouts for you by next week, to further explain the program.

Now let’s move some weight!
