How you talk, both internally and externally, matters.  

 

The next time you’re feeling tired for example, instead of saying ‘I’m tired’ try ‘I’m feeling tired’ or ever better, propose a solution in your language like ‘I need some rest’ or ‘I need to feel energized’. 

 

It’s really true whether you’re talking about strength training, weight loss or simply getting in shape that thoughts become words and words become actions. Following this, I have to end with  Aristotle’s famous quote

‘We are what we repeatedly do, excellence then is not an act but a habit’.
